SEMPTEMBER 1ST 11:45 PM CHECk-IN We booked a room at this hotel on Friday if Labor Day weekend after arriving to Goldsboro late and not wanting to set up at Busco Beach in the dark and the rain. I checked in with Stephanie. She was helpful and accommodating. We got a room in the end in order to see our trailer. I opened the door, switched on the light, and immediately say 4 or 5 bugs crawling ON TOP OF THE BEDS. I also observed some crawling across the floor. I took video snd immediately went back to the front office. The clerk informed me that, since i used a third party booking service, I would need to call them in order to get my card refunded. She said that if she would have run my card she could have refunded it immediately. She was in complete agreeance that it should be refunded. I called Priceline who then transfer me to the third party they're using agoda.com. They contacted the hotel and the clerk informed them that my statements are correct. They cancelled my booking with no issue. The bugs observed were of different species. At least one was a roach, the one on the floor may have been a bedbug, some I was not able to identify.
