Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

stayed five days. on last day found out what had bit me all over my body. after lifting all bedding, found several bed bugs on mattress. took pictures of the bugs and all my bites. I approached the manager of housekeeping. she took a few in a vile. I was told, "sorry this happened, and she gave me lots of excuses how they were short staffed, and to make sure you treat all your belongings."

Stayed Friday to Monday. Had evidence of bed bug bites by Sunday morning. Reported to hotel manager. Be careful if you stay here!

First thing upon entering room inspected bed area. Removed 3 sheet corners and mattress pad corners. Inspected seams of mattress. Found no signs. Checked out of hotel following morning but later in the day realized the back of my right leg itched. Found 3 areas of red bite marks on my calf. Did not contact the hotel, because at that time what would they say?

3/14/22 - We checked in and the Hotel was dirty and had a musty smell and carpet was pulled up in several locations throughout hotel. Our room smelled bad and when I checked beds we found bed bugs and we have video documentation. We have reported the incident to the Tarrant county health officials.

If you find bedbugs in your home you should remove as much clutter and as many items as possible from your house. Replace all bedding and examine the box spring for bedbugs.
