Stayed here on business many times, but I have since encountered bed bugs. I woke up to bed bugs in my bed in the middle of the night on April 10 2019. I immediately called the front desk, the clerk did not know what to do nor did they have any action plan for this type of event. I had to google what to do at 2:30am. Finally I put all my clothing in garbage bags, checked my suitcase (which was in a separate room) with my cell phone's flashlight, saved one outfit to wear which I inspected before putting on. The hotel was sold out so I ended up trying to sleep in my car until the next morning. The hotel paid to have my clothing wash by a laundry service company and refunded me for the one night of my stay. The manager was very kind and offered me another room the next day, however I was too spooked to stay there again so I left. I had to take precautions checking every piece of clothing diligently and my suitcase to make sure I wasn't bringing anything with me. Psychologically speaking I am now paranoid when staying in hotels never thought this could happen to me. Once I finish my business trip I will have to take on expenses of treating anything that can't be washed, suitcase, backpack, shoes, to make sure I don't bring these in my home. It's been a nightmare. This can happen in any hotel, but I warn you to check all cracks and crevices with a flashlight next time you check in. Do not unpack anything before checking the room. Put your suitcases in the bathtub while you check things out. Check sofa, dressers, bed to be sure.
