Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I was in room 106 on July 1st when I checked into the hotel. I started itching after sitting on the bed. I went to the front desk and they moved me to room 218. After getting settled, I went to sleep and woke up the morning of July 2nd at 5:50 a.m. and there was bed bug crawling on top of the comforter. There was a smaller reddish bug crawling on the pillow case and one more small reddish bug crawling on the side seam of the mattress. I called downstairs and they said they had to wait until maintenance came in. I told him it was unacceptable so he came to the room with gloves and picked up the bugs; they offered for me to be moved to another room (this would’ve been 3 rooms) I filed a complaint/incident report and left the hotel.

Checked into room 402 at 10:00 pm on 3/22/19. Went to room and immediately noticed bedbug on the curtain. Hotel was full so they paid for me to stay at another hotel.
