Oct 30, 2022, I had checked into the Holiday Inn in Lansing, KS for business purposes. I checked in on Friday Oct. 28th 2022 and was due to check out on sun. Oct. 30th 2022, I arrived at the hotel on Saturday Oct 27th at the schedule check in time 3pm, I got checked in and got my key I then proceeded up the elevators to the 2nd floor where my room was located room 215 I started to unpack my luggage and get settled into my room when I sat down on my bed and was looking through the newspaper I looked down and I seen a bedbug crawling on me it was a light brown reddish color bug it looked like a bed bug so then I continue to strip my bed and to search my bed for other signs of bed bugs. I found two more on the mattress up by my pillows and I also found a cockroach crawling on the mattress down by the feet of the foot of the bed. I went down to the front desk where I talked to the front desk person and I told her what I had found she apologized and said that she would comp my room and that if I would like that they would switch my room, I agree, she also had the supervisor go up to my room and check the room. I was going to go to a different hotel she told me she understood completely and that she apologized again and offered a complimentary stay the next time I was in town from business, I then proceeded to check out and went to a hotel downtown to stay at for the rest of my business trip.
