Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I checked in on may 6 2017 and after a long drive I took a nap and when I woke up I saw all these tiny bed bugs everywhere,they were on both beds. There was a pretty big bed bug that I killed and a this blood Came out. I am so upset and I called the front desk and they switched my room. I am so terrified im going to bring these bed bugs home. It was so disgusting and I couldn't believe how many they were. I will be calling choice hotels corporate office.

July 15, 2022 11pm Pre bedtime inspection- found no bedbugs but quite a few small beetle type bugs dead and alive on the floor. In the morning I found 1 small and one larger bedbug on the mattress cover, which was torn in several places. Took them to the office where I was told that they would strip the room and surrounding rooms and use insecticide and heat treatment for killing any bugs. They said they would also refund my money. Courteous but did not seem shocked. I have 1 or 2 small bites, husband none.
