06/01/21 checked in room around 11pm and ever since I worked as a housekeeper I always take off the top coverlet and never use it. Got ready for bed, laid down and started watching tv when I put out my cigarette in the ashtray I saw something run out across the end table so I picked up the ashtray and smashed it. I then transferred it to a towel and confirmed it was a bed bug so I pulled back the end table and saw 4 dead carcasses on the floor in the seam. Instantly panicked because I know how hard it is to get rid of these bugs if you bring them home with you so I packed my stuff and ran down to the front desk which was just a terrible nightmare because she didn’t help at all. Couldn’t refund our money, couldn’t give me a phone number or email address to get ahold of management to get refund and wasn’t offered another room (even though I wouldn’t have accepted it anyways) I’m beyond displeased with this hotel and how they handle things!!!! Would not recommend this place EVER!
