Thursday, October 3. Laying in bed at hotel watching football. My husband felt something crawl over his arm under the pillow. He caught the bedbug and put it in the sink. Identified it and called the front desk to tell them that it was there. The hotel put us up at another hotel for the night. We left immediately.

My wife and I stayed at the Pear Tree Inn on the nights of November 20 and 21,2024. We were bitten by bed bugs on one or both nights. We did not notice the bites until after we left for our home. We told the desk person on Wednesday night we found a bedbug on the bed. We found another bug the next morning (Thursday) and told the desk person. They moved us from room 220 to 221 for Thursday night. We left early on Friday morning and returned to Louisville. We had to seek medical help on Sunday morning. The doctor diagnosed the itchy red spots as bed bug bites. My wife had them on the right side of her face I had a row of bites on my left arm and left leg. I ask that you reimburse us for the $60 in medical fees, the medication and the amount we were charged for the two nights. We had been staying at the Pear tree and Drury’s since 1996 and had not had a problem until this visit.
