I stayed at the Days Inn on Route 66 and noticed that the carpet was not very clean. I went to sleep and woke up at 11:35 with a terrible itch on my left leg and a burning sensation on my right one. I turned on the lights and I foun a couple of bed bugs filled with my blood. I called the reception and they offered me a new room and I didn't know what to do because I was worried all the rooms had them: I finally decided it was worth a try and I walked in the middle of a snowy night back to the reception and took the new key. I was upset and had a few words with the recepcionist and she told me to "keep my fingers crossed" trying to mocking me about the bites. I checked the beds in the new room and did not use the blankets but got a pillow in between my legs because I suffer hip pain. Of course I woke up again with a burning sensation on my right leg (I was wearing a hoodie-footie pajama so only half of my legs were uncoveres and there's where I got the bites) I looked for bugs but did not find any this time. In the morning I complained and they said they exterminator was working on it and it was true. I showed him the bugs I had catched in the first room and he said "Oh! Those are small ones" like it was nothing. For me, it meant that there where a lot of those in the room. At check out I gave the bottle with bed bugs to the receptionist and she said the manager would write me back. 3 days have passed and my legs are still very itchy and I still feel this burning sensation. I have taken benadryl and used a couple of ointments but trust me. Don't go to this hotel. It's gross.

My daughter woke up complaining of have a bite that hurt and was sore. She showed me the bite. We stayed in room 214, 2/17-2/19/17. I flipped over the mattresses to find blood on the sheets between the mattress. There was also a large bed bug found. The carpets were dirtry. The manager was off site when I reported this to the front office. I spoke to the manager over the phone and he said he would have to investigate the room once back on site.
