Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

1. February 9, 2018 at around 3:00AM. Woke up covered in bug bites. Discovered several live bugs crawling on the sheets on both beds. 2. Reported to the front desk immediately. The woman denied the accusation of bed bugs and immediately said they were "beetles" that just happen to appear this time of year. She moved us to a room down the hall and offered a 50% discount which was never applied to our bill. Called Hotels.com to report this and according to them, the hotel has "no record of any incidents during our stay". The hotel failed to document this and the room was never treated for bed bugs.We saw the maid making the bed in the bug-infested room before we left as if they had no intention of treating this room for bed bugs.
