Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Found bedbugs in the king bed. Well over 100 discovered on the bottom sheet and in and on the pillows. We reported this information to the front desk and were offered another room, which we denied. Did ask to speak to management, which we were denied. They did reimburse us, but had to find another room in town at 1:30 am. We now have 3 more weeks of our vacation in Florida and potentially have a car full of bedbugs. I'm sure other properties in Florida would not be happy with us bringing in bedbugs. NOT A GREAT WAY TO START A VACATION!
