Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I checked into the Days Inn 05/23/2016 and everything seemed fine. I woke up this morning itching and found little bugs on my pillow. I had never seen a bedbug before so my daughter looked it up. I went to the desk and told him and he said oh maybe 1 or 2 and I brought him to my room and said hell no more like 10 or 20. as I moved the pillows you could see more and more. He said he will let the Manager know..... I want my money back!! And I can't even shower to get this off me because the shower is broken. I am still freaking out

I stayed in the hotel for a few nights. The hotel needs a health inspection, as I did not use the bed spreads and the sheets had dirt on them from previous tenants. I do NOT recommend this hotel for extended stay. End story...my right arm from the elbow up has about 30 bites...now swollen and itchy, both feet have about 5 bites each, and I have bites on my waist. I probably should get a $$ return....but I would rather just heal up and put it behind me.

If you find bedbugs in your home you should remove as much clutter and as many items as possible from your house. Replace all bedding and examine the box spring for bedbugs.
