Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Woke up with thousands of bites on my arms. Did not perform a through inspection as I should have with the hotel. It was smelly inside, but I attributed it to the humid weather. The hotel room was unclean as there were other human hair in the bathtub upon arrival. The beds looked clean but again, I did not do a through inspection. There is no other way I could have gotten these bites on my arms out of the blue overnight others than it having bed bugs. Upon looking at TripAdvisor later on, people have reported it having bed bugs. I wish people would just fucking shut down hotels that are known to have bedbugs.
