Room was disgusting! Bed bug blood all over mattress and bed bug sited on nightstand. Left hotel in a hurry.

we stayed in room 128 and I was bitten all over the upper part of my body. I took a bug to the front desk on check out and the lady refunded me $20 which was an insult. The room was supposed to be non smoking and there were cigarettes and ashes and filth behind the bed. This was disgusting! I had stayed here before but will never again. Motel 6 corporation needs to get this place cleaned up or shut it down because it is a disgrace to the Motel 6 chain. I should have received a full refund because I requested a non smoking ground floor when i reserved it online at motel6.com. If the health department in Blount County was doing their job, they would shut this place down till it is cleaned up and debugged. The lady at the front desk kept the bed bug I took up to her to supposedly show the bug man but this apparently is an ongoing issue because I see that someone else reported this bug problem in 2015. I called the Blount County Health department and they apparently do not care either

Room was disgusting and there were blood stains and other signs that bedbugs had previously been there.. we did not find any in our room that was alive but I was bitten by a rat while sleeping. It bit me on my finger and it was definitely a rat bc of the droppings that were all around the bed when I woke up. We reported it to the owners who told us to leave and although we had paid up for 5 more days, he refused us a refund for the remaining time we had left to stay. Alcoa police was called and they were able to convince the owner to at least give us a partial refund, and he only agreed to return $64 to us... the price for one night. Will never stay there again and would encourage other PPL to not stay either.. I could have caught a disease but was lucky and did not.
