Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

January 20, 2018 approx 10:30pm Room 206 Contacted desk manager and he came to look at what I found. He offered me another room. I agreed IF we looked at the bed first and didn't see any bugs. We checked room 212 and didn't see any on the bed at that time, so I moved. Upon getting into bed, I did see one tiny one, but killed it and hoped for the best. It was too late to go to another hotel and possibly take any bugs with me. Next day I requested a waiver for the room rate, but manager wouldn't agree...he first offered me points for the Choice membership, but I don't travel often, so that wouldn't help me. After more negotiating, we finally agreed on half refunded to me.
