I found bed bug in the room! Disgusting. Went to San Diego for my birthday vacation and stayed at Dana Mission Bay. The reason I chose this hotel was because of good reviews on Expedia and nice pool. The WORST decision Ive ever made. The room my husband and I stayed was an old and small room in one of the old buildings. The room was so small and smelled so awful like mildew. Then I started to get bites all over my body- first thought the bites are from mosquitos from the pool. But I noticed more bites in a row or clustered in one area every morning. Finally I started to think they are bed bugs bites. My husband and I started to look underneath the mattress and bed frame and we found a bedbug and its residuals. I honestly think there were more but we stopped looking as soon as we found as it is disgusting and horrifying already. I called the front desk and the lady changed our room to one of the newer ones. That new room was much nicer but I just couldn't justify to stay at that hotel anymore. Totally ruined my birthday vacation.
